We couldn’t miss a Flash CS3 uploader…
I created a new utility which allows uploading pdf files or images in a swf.
The Actionscript class used, is naturally the FileReference of Actionscript 3.0 which, let’s put it this way, works with the AS files created.
This uploader works in two phases:
- the first one upload a chosen file from your pc to the server
- the second one will take the uploaded file and display it in the swf in case of a image or redirect the user to its url in case of a pdf.
It can be useful for who needs to give to the users the possibility to upload file to the server using Flash.
You can easily modify it yourself for those of you who understand the AS file and you are invited to discuss any problem you encounter in the forum of FlepStudio.
Read the instruction file (instructions.rtf) to change the required parameters.
I apology before hand for the ‘not so nice’ graphics. As maybe you will have already understood it is not my best… you can adapt it as you wish.
